Prayer Requests & Praises
We are blessed to have so many of you supporting our moms and kids through prayer. Knowing they are being lifted up regularly encourages our moms to keep fighting the good fight.
We want to share some praises from our moms. Over the past few months we have welcomed three new moms and their kids! As they have settled in, they have seen the hand of God at work and are grateful for His provision.
One mom shared: “I’d like to thank God for His love and all He has blessed me and my daughter with: a roof over our heads, a job, healing, education, caring friends, and above all, peace of mind.”
Another mom is knocking it out of the park in her studies. She is getting great grades and was just awarded a generous scholarship!
“My little one is developing and growing more and more healthy. His speech is improving. My other children are thriving in school and I’ve gotten a PRN job!” This mom is excited for all that God has for her and her kids.
And we had one of our former kids get baptized! Praise God!
Please continue to pray for our moms as they tackle each day, balancing work, school and children. If you would like some specific areas to pray over, consider the following:
– Hope. In the midst of the busy, it’s easy to lose sight and grow weary. Pray God would provide deep abiding hope.
“I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.” – Romans 15:13
– Confidence. We want our moms to know they have a support system and are loved and cared for. We want them to walk each day in confidence, knowing they are doing good and lasting things for their families.
“And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6
And lastly, as we are getting in the groove of a new school year, please pray for protection, favor and friends for our precious Shiloh Place kids!
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for partnering with and supporting the work of Shiloh Place.
